Natural remedies for cold and flu

Cold and flu can subtly knock us down and in hours of the absence of any symptoms, the condition can worsen. Mix 1 tsp. soda with 50ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice, a deep glass is desirable, as it starts to foam when mixed. Drink immediately. It has an unpleasant taste, but with exceptional healing properties.

Honey against the first symptoms of cold and flu

Honey mixed with garlic and onion pulp kills bacteria in the oral cavity and strengthens the body. All three ingredients are old friends in the fight against various diseases and their power has been proven. The ratio between the ingredients is 1:1:1. It can be left to stand in the refrigerator, but for a better effect it is desirable to consume it immediately after preparation. Take 1 tbsp. three times a day, before meals.

Chamomile tea soothes an irritated throat, tones the body, gives life to the body and supports faster recovery. 10 chamomile flowers are brewed in 500 ml of water for ten minutes. One part of the liquid can be strained and drunk with honey and lemon as a tea, and another part can be used for inhalations. Once cooled, chamomile tea is also suitable for gargling and has an antiseptic effect.

Drops for the nose of mixed equal amounts of vitamin C and silver water, have a soothing and cleansing effect on the nasal cavity. Silver water has an antioxidant effect, and vitamin C helps maintain mucous membranes and is an immunostimulator.

Hot

Hot peppers (or cayenne pepper) mixed with vinegar and finely chopped garlic help to warm the body, expel toxins, and unclog a stuffy nose. Hot pepper and garlic contain vinamines, and vinegar kills bacteria in the oral cavity. This mix, combined with hot soup, is a great and tasty way to beat the flu and cold.

Ginger tea is another natural remedy for colds and flu. Ginger has an anti-inflammatory, warming effect and supports the immune system. Peeled and grated ginger root is boiled with a little water, then left to infuse. The tea can be consumed both hot and chilled.

Ginger can fight colds and flu

A mix of grated ginger with honey and lemon, can be taken all year round to stimulate immunity or for colds and flu sufferersq. The taste is pleasantly sweet-bitter and the invigorating effect on the body is felt almost immediately. The mixture has a beneficial effect on both the sick and the healthy body.

These natural cold and flu remedies can be given as a shock dose and alternated every hour or two for the first few days of the illness.
